Early Years Child and Family Program

The NEW Early Years Child and Family Program invites Parents/Caregivers and their children to the Drop-in Program to participate in play-based activities together that support learning and attachment.

The Drop-In Program is a safe and inclusive environment where the Registered Early Childhood Educators plan various developmental and age-appropriate activities and experiences – in which the children will engage in meaningful exploration where they are valued as individual, competent contributors with their own interests and points of view (How Does Learning Happen).   The Program is a place where children and families can learn, grow and connect.

There are several centres to promote learning through play. “Children learn best when they can play, explore the world and interact with adults and peers” (Early Learning for Every Child Today, 2007).
